The only fund house in India to put on such a big event is PPFAS Mutual Fund, which has been hosting these Unitholders' Meets since its founding in May 2013.
The event will be live-streamed to viewers worldwide on YouTube, according to the fund house, even though it will only be accessible to unitholders, Distribution Partners, and a small number of other special invitees.
In this meeting, the CEO and the fund management team expose themselves to the scrutiny of unitholders and partners and respond to questions on operations, portfolio components, and the future. The Fund has also used this forum over the years to make some significant announcements.
Chairman and CEO of PPFAS Mutual Fund Neil Parag Parikh stated: "Due to the epidemic, we convened our previous two Annual Meets online. This year, we're utilising a hybrid strategy and setting up a live event that will also be broadcast on YouTube. We have always held the view that partners and investors have a right to full disclosure regarding the plans, the management, and all other matters pertaining to their investment. We may communicate openly and freely on this platform.
