One of the most liquid assets, or one of the simplest to convert into cash, is a mutual fund. The unit holder must provide a completed Redemption Request form to the AMC's or the Registrar's approved office in order to redeem money in offline mode. Name of unit holder, folio number, name of scheme, and quantity of units to be redeemed are all required information on the form. The first named unit holder's registered bank account will receive the redemption proceeds.
On the website of the relevant mutual fund, mutual funds may also be acquired and redeemed. To redeem units, just choose the mutual fund scheme, the number of units (or the amount) you wish to redeem, and then complete your transaction. To redeem units, go to the appropriate mutual fund's "Online Transaction" page and log in using your Folio Number and/or PAN.
Additionally, registrars like CAMS (Computer Age Management Services Pvt. Ltd.), Karvy, and others provide the ability to redeem Mutual Funds purchased via various AMCs. The form is available online or in the nearby office. Please be aware that not all AMCs may be serviced by these organizations.
